K is for… Kiwi.
These are a tasty and tangy fruit for kids which they can eat with or without the skin. They are full of lots of vitamin C, E, and K, which are great at boosting their immune system. They also help keep kids skin and blood healthy. The fibres found in kiwis are vital for keeping a healthy heart, good digestion, and low cholesterol.
Kiwis are great for kids in a fruit salad, a smoothie, or just by themselves. They aren’t that great with cooking, however, as when you heat them up they lose a lot of the vitamin C goodness.
