M is for milk...

Milk is full of a great range of nutrients, such as calcium which strengthens kids bones and teeth.

Many kids don't drink enough milk, which is unfortunate because fortified milk is a good source of many important vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients. Milk is usually considered a key part of a healthy diet for kids, as it provides those kids with a good source of protein, folate, zinc, potassium, and magnesium, all of which are important for keeping the body happy and healthy.

Many kids are dairy intolerant; if your children suffer from digestive issues, bloating, or stomach cramps and dairy products are a part of their diet, you may want to consider cutting them out.

Although kids drink cow’s milk, you can also get it from other animals like goats or sheep. Some families like to replace milk from animals with milk from plants like coconut, oats or soya, although they will contain a whole different group of nutrients to animal milk.
