Yoghurt can come in a massive variety of different flavours, but at its core it is made from dairy milk and friendly bacteria. These bacteria support your kids gut and digestion. It is also high in protein and brings with it a lot of the health benefits found with dairy milk.


When shopping for yoghurt make sure you read the label, as different brands can contain different sugar and fat levels. Something which is useful for those who are lactose intolerant is that this variety of branding with yoghurts means there is now dairy free versions available, which still contain high levels of protein and calcium.
